The new school year has started! This means that new interns have started at Automotive Auctions. The next six months, four students will get to know our online car auctions, exclusive cars, free libos and our great team.
We would like to introduce them to you!
Liam van den Oever (19 years)
This is Liam. Liam is an old friend of ours, he already did a 3 month internship with us in January 2020. He is now in the final year of the International Business programme at Koning Willem l College in Den Bosch. After his studies, he hopes to continue studying at HBO. Liam's main tasks at Automotive are assisting in selling and presenting cars, receiving customers and maintaining the showroom.
Liam lives in Eerde, a village close to Veghel. We could not miss his Brabant accent at our office. In the weekend he likes to drink a beer with his friends. As soon as the festivals are allowed to continue, he can be found at a lot of Hardstyle parties. This Brabander also has a season ticket for PSV. Maybe nice to know, this cosy bird also has a bird at home. ;)
Koen Janssen (18 years)
This is Koen. The village idiot of Haps. Koen has been working at Automotive for 2 years now. Two days a week each time and from February onwards he will be with us for 5 days. He is in his final year of training as Sales Manager Mobility Industry at Summa College in Helmond. After his studies, Koen hopes to continue studying at HBO and to stay with Automotive. At Automotive, Koen is mainly occupied with assisting in selling and presenting cars, receiving customers and maintaining the showroom.
Koen entertains himself in the weekends by drinking beer with friends. He can often be found at the pubs in the area. A quiet weekend is never on Koen's agenda.
Sam Verhaaf (20 years)
This is Sam. Sam joined us in September as a Marketing & Communication intern. This year, she will start the third year of the communication study at the HAN. Sam will be with us 4 days a week. During her studies, she gained a lot of knowledge about online and offline marketing, branding, internal and external communication, design and content creation. Sam will put this knowledge into practice by taking up the communication activities at Automotive.
Sam lives in the village of Gennep near Boxmeer. Early in the morning, Sam wakes up the whole street with loud bangs from the exhaust. This is also useful for us, because then we know when Sam is coming ;). In the weekend, Sam likes to go to the terrace, go out and eat out. Where there is fun, there is Sam.
Wout Litjens (17 years)
This is Wout. Wout will be with us for 4 days starting in September. He will spend a whole year with us developing his sales skills. Wout is studying Vakman ondernemerschap at the Gilde in Roermond. In the coming year, Wout will be mainly occupied with assisting in the sale and presentation of cars, receiving customers and maintaining the showroom.
Wout lives across the Maas in Nieuw-Bergen. Besides cars, Wout also presents tasty dishes. In the weekend he works at restaurant Papenberg in Afferden. He thinks it is important that he comes back to work tidy every day. In the weekend Wout likes to chill with his friends.
