The ultimate version of the Maserati GranTurismo is the MC Stradale. This example is one of the 497 two-seat MC Stradale's. Of these, only 225 were delivered in Europe.
Where the standard model is mainly a GT - the name suggests something like this - the MC Stradale is sportier in all areas. For example, carbon-ceramic brake discs and carbon bucket seats from the Ferrari Enzo are mounted to save weight and the chassis is 8% stiffer. The various interventions make the car 110 kg lighter, while the power increases by 10 hp compared to the GranTurismo S.
The latter is the result of an F1 technique-inspired coating that reduces the internal resistance of the engine. Not only the V8 is built by Ferrari, the gearbox also has a link with Ferrari. The MC Race Shift gearbox shares components with the gearbox of the unsurpassed Ferrari 599 GTO. In Race mode, the robotised manual gearbox can thus shift gears in 60 milliseconds.
