This UK-built two-door Ford Escort MKI is a well-preserved example of an original car from the '70s. This Escort provides an excellent base for building a Replica Mexico, or can be retained in its current condition, is riding and 52 years old. The engine is well maintained and runs very smoothly.
At the front, the car is equipped with the appropriate grille, headlights and a set of quarter bumpers. The unrestored bodywork is generally in solid condition. Although there are some rust spots present, this is acceptable given the age of the car. In the trunk and under the floor you can see how well the car has been preserved, as well as the straight inner wings. The battery has been moved to the trunk. The bodywork shows signs of wear befitting a vehicle that has been in use for the past 52 years. Both the bonnet and the boot lid have been replaced. The car is also equipped with beautiful Ford RS wheels.
The interior needs some refurbishment, but as a whole this Escort forms a solid basis to make a very nice car.
