This UK-built Ford Escort MKI with two doors is a well-preserved example of an original car from the 70s. This Escort provides an excellent basis for building a Replica Mexico, or can be preserved in its current condition, is running and 52 years old. The engine is well maintained and runs very smoothly.
At the front, the car is equipped with the right grille, headlights and a set of quarter bumpers. The unrestored bodywork is generally in solid condition. Although there are some rust spots, this is acceptable given the age of the car. In the trunk and under the bottom you can see how well the car has been preserved, as well as the straight inner wings. The battery has been moved to the trunk. The bodywork shows signs of wear befitting a vehicle that has been in use for the past 52 years. Both the bonnet and the boot lid have been replaced. The car is also equipped with beautiful Ford RS wheels.
The interior needs refurbishment, but as a whole this Escort forms a solid basis to make a very nice car.
