1975 Land Rover Range Rover. It is the distinctive, first generation and is known as the Land Rover Range Rover Classic. In this case, the three-door version (version with the recessed door handles and characteristic fuel flap for these years) and equipped with the well-known eight-cylinder petrol engine.
The car was originally delivered in the Netherlands in 1975 and probably received its current registration in 1985. Delivered new to the same family who have owned the car ever since. The owner was a veterinarian and his wife and the car has almost always been driving around in South Limburg. Up to and including 2013 the car had its (annual) MOT inspections, after that the car probably did not drive anymore and the Range Rover was parked under a carport on its own property. In the meantime, the family has made it known that they would like to sell the vehicle, the hope is for an enthusiast as the next owner.
The car was found under a layer of dust and seems to have stood the test of time. The paintwork itself looks good as far as we're concerned, although there are some corrosion spots. The Range Rover has been polished, made running and fitted with a new MOT inspection, valid until August 2025.
Various documentation is available, including inspection reports between 1995 and 2013 and the most recent MOT inspection in 2023. History of Demandt Land Rover and Land Rover The Uiver is present, as well as the British Leyland passport and the spare wheel. In addition, there are various appendices that further endorse the history, such as maps of the road tax, an old registration certificate part III, etc. Odometer reading has been read, given the 5-digit odometer and the maintenance history, it is plausible that the car has driven more.
The car starts and drives. In view of the long period of inactivity, we recommend maintenance prior to using the car, including the exhaust must be checked.
