This Daf was originally delivered in the Czech Republic, where it has demonstrably had two owners. The car has been in a shed for the last 10 years. The previous owner, who had a company in Daf trucks, maintained the car himself. Unfortunately, there are no maintenance invoices available.
Bodywork and paintwork condition: The bodywork is in good condition. The Daf was repainted 15 years ago, without dents and with minimal scratches.
This car was purchased in 1968 in Czechoslovakia, where Western cars were offered by TUZEX. Only selected people with access to foreign currency, for example by working abroad or receiving money from family in the West, could buy from TUZEX. The car was purchased by a doctor, born in 1911, who worked in a hospital in Dresden and therefore had access to the necessary currency to buy the car.
