This Beetle was built on June 14, 1966 in Belgium for the Dutch market and delivered to the first owner (R.W. Pot from Dongen) on June 22. It concerns model year '67 which has only been in use for 1 year, this is the last model with horizontal headlights, small rear lights and longer tailgate.
In 1976, the license plate was converted to the current combination in order to be able to carry a modern yellow license plate. Original combination is known to the RDW.
The car drove around until 1989 (sticker on yellow license plate) and then ended up in a shed. In 2006 it was removed from the barn and completely body-off restored (part of the photos added).
The car has been sprayed in the original colour by means of a colour measurement, both body and rims. Chassis is fully equipped with tectyl and stone chip coating. The beetle is completely rust-free. Visit the viewing day for your own assessment.
The engine has been completely dismantled and rebuilt.
Engine compartment is equipped with BlazeCut automatic extinguishing system.
